Policies

What to know before you book. Woodrow goes over draping and pressure again at every visit.

Booking and deposits

Book on the online calendar or by phone. A card number holds your time, and there is no deposit.

Canceling and running late

Please give 24 hours to cancel or move a session. If you are ill, tell Woodrow and he will move it. A late arrival shortens the session so the next client starts on time.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a session without telling Woodrow, the held time is billed as set out when you booked. Call or text if something went wrong.

Children and companions

Massage here is for adults. Please come alone, or with an adult who can wait in the hall. Children cannot be in the treatment room.

Oils, scents and allergies

Woodrow uses unscented oil and lotion unless you ask otherwise, and can tell you every ingredient. Tell him about a nut or fragrance allergy when you book.

If you're not happy

If a session was not right, tell Woodrow within a few days and he will make it right with you.

Tipping

Tipping is welcome and never expected. Add one when you pay.

Undressing and draping

You are covered by a sheet or towel the whole time. Only the part being worked on is uncovered, and it is covered again when Woodrow moves on. Undress to the point you are comfortable.

Pressure, consent and stopping

Before you start, Woodrow asks how much pressure you want and about any area to leave alone. Tell him at any time to go lighter or firmer. You can pause, change position or end the session whenever you like, for any reason, and he stops right away. This is therapeutic massage, and he does not diagnose.

When to ask your doctor first

If you are pregnant, or have a recent injury or surgery, ask your doctor before you book, and tell Woodrow when you arrive. Massage does not replace your doctor's care.
